Does your cat or dog have irregular digestion?

Is your cat having trouble eliminating hairballs?

Fiberact® from MP Labo promotes regular bowel movements and provides natural daily digestive comfort.

Its unique ingredient, blond psyllium husk, is a natural fibre that acts like a sponge: it retains water and forms a gentle gel.

  • This gel eases the passage of intestinal contents, regulates transit, and makes stool elimination easier.
  • It also supports the natural elimination of hairballs.

Fiberact is a simple, gentle, easy-to-use, and fast-acting solution, ideal for pets prone to slow transit or loose stools and compatible with all types of diets.

Why choose Fiberact®?

  • A 100% natural product: blond psyllium husk (Plantago ovata).
  • Helps eliminate hairballs in cats.
  • Visible effect on overly hard stools in less than 4 days for 90% of dogs and cats¹.
  • Easy to use for 82% of dog owners and 70% of cat owners¹; to be mixed with food.
  • Key ingredient and benefits: 100% blond psyllium husk powder (Plantago ovata).
  • Blond psyllium husk is a natural source rich in soluble, low-fermentable mucilage, known for its gentle mechanical action.
  • It can absorb up to 40 times its own weight in water.
  • It forms a viscous gel that is not absorbed by the body, which helps regulate the movement of content through the intestine and colon.
  • This gel lubricates and regulates intestinal transit while facilitating the elimination of stools and hairballs.

About Fiberact®

When to use Fiberact®

Fiberact may be recommended to help regulate digestive transit in dogs and cats, particularly in the following cases:

  • Hard stools in dogs and cats.
  • Loose stools, especially in dogs.
  • Hairballs (trichobezoars): to help reduce their formation or support elimination, particularly during shedding in cats.
  • Low-fibre diets or overweight pets.
  • Anal gland impaction.

How to use Fiberact®

The powder can be mixed directly into food.

  • Dogs: 1 teaspoon (approx. 2 g) per 10 kg per day.
  • Cats: ½ teaspoon per day.

The amount may be doubled if necessary.

Always follow your veterinarian’s advice.

Directions for use

Recommended duration: Fiberact® can be used occasionally or long-term.

  • A 100 g jar provides more than two and a half months’ use for a 5 kg cat.

Moisten dry food by lightly spraying water over kibble so the powder adheres.

For fussy eaters, start with smaller portions of the recommended amount to help them adjust.

Fiberact can be mixed with a little water and administered immediately using a syringe, like a feeding bottle.

The gel forms within a few minutes.
