Recognise diabetes in your cat. When does your cat actually have diabetes mellitus? Common symptoms are heavy drinking and more frequent urination. Your cat may also have an increased appetite. The condition of its coat often deteriorates and it is tired more quickly. Loss of weight while eating well can also indicate diabetes mellitus. If in doubt, always consult your vet.

The reduced starch content offers support in cases of diabetes. It also has a high protein content, which helps to maintain muscle mass. It also helps to keep your cat at a healthy weight. Very important, because being overweight can make your cat less sensitive to insulin. 

   Ingredients 

Composition: dehydrated poultry proteins, barley, wheat gluten*, maize gluten, soya protein isolate*, tapioca, animal fats, hydrolysed animal proteins, vegetable fibres, chicory pulp, minerals, fish oil, psyllium husks and seeds, Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides, soya oil, tagetes (African) extract (source of lutein).

Additives (per kg): Nutritional additives: Vitamin A 25000 IU, Vitamin D3 1000 IU, E1 (iron) 33 mg, E2 (iodine) 3.3 mg, E4 (copper) 10 mg, E5 (manganese) 43 mg, E6 (zinc) 130 mg, E8 (selenium) 0.05 mg. Preservatives: Antioxidants.

Analytical constituents: Crude protein 46 %, Crude fat 12 %, Crude ash 6,4 %, Crude fibre 3,8 %, Starch 19 %, Total sugars 1,5 %, Essential fatty acids 2,88 %.
