The Vetoquinol cold/hot pack has a multiple effect:
Warming up the sleeping place of your pet in the winter
Stimulation of recovery, reduction of pain and reduction of swelling
Relieves the pain of osteoarthritis patients
Heat therapy:
The heat generated by the Vetoquinol hot pack relaxes the muscles and promotes blood flow. Consequently, the hot pack can be used in animals suffering from osteoarthritis.
Instructions for use:
1. Take the cold/hot pack out of the sleeve
2. Put it in the microwave and heat it at 700 Watt for 60 seconds.
3. Feel if the hot pack is not too hot when it is back in the cover
4. Use the hot pack for 20 minutes on region to be treated
Cold therapy:
The cold pack reduces inflammation, swelling and soothes the sensation of pain.
Instructions for use:
1. Take the cold/hot pack out of its cover
2. Put it in the fridge for 4 hours or in the deepfreeze for 2 hours, wrapped in a plastic bag.
3. Feel if the cold pack does not feel too cold when it is back in the cover
4. Use the hot pack for 20 minutes on the area to be treated
Cleaning of the pack is best done with a damp cloth. The cover can be washed at 30°C.
